About Us

Most advice sites tell you what you already know. We go looking for the stuff that slips past everyone else: the small adjustment, the swap, the trick that actually saves you time, money, or a headache.

What People Missed publishes free daily life-hack articles across seven categories: Home & Garden, Food, Beauty, Health, Tech, Finance, and Relationships. If it makes an ordinary day a little easier, it belongs here.

What we do

We take everyday problems, the kind you run into in your kitchen, your inbox, your bathroom cabinet, your budget, and dig for the fix that most people never hear about. Sometimes that's an old trick your grandmother knew. Sometimes it's a new tool nobody's talking about yet. Either way, our job is to find it, explain it plainly, and get out of your way.

How we choose and check our hacks

Every hack starts as a tip: from our own testing, from reader submissions, from experts we talk to, or from digging through forums, product manuals, and research that never makes it into mainstream headlines. Before it becomes an article, we ask three questions: Does it actually work? Is it safe to try at home? And is it explained clearly enough that you won't have to guess at a step?

We're not a lab and we don't claim scientific rigor on every tip. What we do promise is that we try things ourselves where we can, we cross-check claims against more than one source, and we flag anything where results are likely to vary from person to person. Where a hack touches health, money, or safety, we say so plainly and tell you when to check with a professional instead of taking our word for it.

Our promise

We won't pad an article to make it longer than it needs to be. We won't dress up a common tip as some secret nobody knows. And we won't publish something just because it gets clicks if we don't think it holds up. If a hack turns out to be wrong or outdated, we'll correct it.

Send us your hacks

Some of the best tips we've published came from readers, not from us. If you've got a trick that saved you time, money, or frustration, we want to hear about it. Tell us what it is, how you found it, and what it fixed. If it checks out, we'll write it up and credit the idea to readers like you.

Reach us anytime through our contact page. We read everything that comes in.
